HYPOL material from Dow Chemical is polyurethane prepolymer – isocyanate terminated reactive liquid, which has a strong hydrophilicity.

The prepolymer is mixed with water, and products with different performances, such as foam, gel and glue, can be prepared only by controlling the amount of added water without adding a catalyst or additional heating.

→Strong designability

HYPOL prepolymers can be made into foam, gel and glue according to different water absorption specific gravity.

For example, by adding one HYLOP to 5-20 shares of water, you can get gel, and by adding one HYLOP to 0.5-3 shares of water, you can get foam.

HYPOL prepolymer can absorb water 20 times its own weight and can keep water from losing.

Application 1: Non-latex powder puff

Latex powder puff: It’s mainly made of rubber materials (NR natural latex, NBR nitrile latex, SBR styrene-butadiene latex). Application 2: Medical foam dressing

Foam dressing is a sterile disposable, soft, absorbent and adhesive polyurethane foam dressing, which can provide an ideal moist wound healing environment and effectively absorb exudate.

It is suitable for wounds with many exudates, such as lower limb ulceration and pressure sores, can be used for second-degree burns, postoperative wounds and skin abrasions, and can be used to provide protection for suitable wounds in the whole healing process.
