Application characteristics of SCM Capstone series fluorine surfactants
For SCM Capstone® series products, different specifications have different application focuses.
Capstone®1440 is a mixture of fluorine surfactant and hydrocarbon surfactant. It is mainly used as a film-forming and foaming additive in water-based portable fire extinguishers and water-based film-forming firefighting foam concentrate. It has obvious effect on extinguishing hydrocarbon liquid and polar liquid fires.
Capstone®1460 is a VOC-free low molecular weight partial fluorocarbon copolymer, which can be used together with other fluorocarbon surfactants and has high performance in extinguishing hydrocarbon and polar solvent fires.
Capstone®1157 is an amphoteric fluorine surfactant. Its main performance is to greatly reduce the surface tension of aqueous liquid. It is widely used as a film-forming additive in water film-forming fire-fighting foam, fluorine protein film-forming foam and alcohol-resistant foam to resist fires caused by hydrocarbons and polar liquids.
