Since Dr. Brink developed the first fibrous-bed mist eliminator in 1960 in the world, MECS has designed more than 3,000 sets of devices for more than 100 industry applications worldwide to meet the defogging needs of customers (acid mist, alkali mist, water mist, solvent mist, oil mist, etc.), and helped customers solve the problem of purifying process gas, protecting downstream equipment, reaching standards for the gas exhaust emission, removing submicron liquid mist and soluble solids in the gas, having gained a wide affirmation and recognition of users.

By means of collision, interception and Brownian diffusion mechanism, capture submicron mist particles to achieve high efficiency of defogging effect. As for the Brownian movement of small mist particles caused by the collision of gas molecules, use fibers with small diameter and thicker fibrous-beds, and rely on a longer lingering time to collect the small mist particles on the fibers to achieve an excellent defogging effect.

Functions of mist eliminator

1. Purify process gases (Cl2, SO2, H2, N2, HCl, CH4, CH3Cl etc.)

2. Collect water mist, alkali mist, acid mist (sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, phosphoric acid, etc.) to avoid the corrosion of the downstream equipment.
