Our supplier of flotation reagent of molybdenum ore is Chevron Phillips Chemical Company (CP-Chem) from the US. CP-Chem is a multinational chemical company, mainly producing chemical products, such as polystyrene, olefins, polyethylene, α olefin and aromatic hydrocarbons; it is the joint venture company between Chevron Chemical Company (Chevron) and Phillips Petroleum Company (Phillips) in the US, with a total asset of more than 6 billion dollars, headquartered in Houston, USA, with 31 factories and 6 research and development centers set up around the world.
Molybdenum, a kind of precious and rare high-melting metal, serves as a kind of important strategic material, and still is an important alloying element to produce alloy steel, stainless steel, heat resistant steel and alloy cast iron etc.
Molybdenum is generally recycled from primary molybdenum ores or associated ores, and the most common of it is associated copper-molybdenum. The beneficiation method of molybdenum ore is mainly flotation, and the recyclable molybdenum mineral is molybdenite. Sometimes in order to improve the quality of molybdenum concentrates, the molybdenum concentrates after flotation is subjected to the treatment of chemical beneficiation.
